A digital client assistant for German tax firms
The digital client assistant collects information and documents through a structured process, reminds clients about missing items, and prepares every case for your firm.
Built around day-to-day practice: a clear path for your clients, transparent statuses for your team, and every professional decision stays with you.
Request started
The client selects their concern.
Positioning
AutomateWerk is not a general automation agency. We work on exactly one part of your day: the collaboration between client and firm when information and documents are collected. We make that part structured, transparent and lighter for both sides.
Request types, follow-up questions and checklists follow the cases that actually occur in a German tax firm.
Clients follow a guided flow in the browser, with no additional software and no technical knowledge required.
Every case shows what has arrived, what is missing and what happened last. Professional decisions remain with your team.
Starting point
The professional work is rarely the bottleneck. The effort usually happens before it: while collecting documents.
Every channel brings its own format, its own filing and its own reminder logic, and everything is merged by hand in the end.
Following up takes time, is hard to document, and quietly slips when workload is high.
Master data, responsibilities and required documents are requested and transferred in several separate steps.
The state of a case often lives in individual mailboxes instead of one shared place.
Every status question interrupts the work in progress and ties up additional time in the team.
None of this is unusual. It happens wherever information arrives without structure.
The solution
The assistant is designed to be embedded in your firm's own website. Clients start their request there, are guided through the relevant questions, and receive a personal list of the documents required. Your firm receives the case as one structured whole, instead of in fragments across several channels.

How it works
The flow is self-explanatory for clients and transparent for your firm at every point.
On your firm's website the client selects their concern and answers the questions that belong to it.
The answers turn into a personal list of the documents this specific case requires.
Open positions are detected and the client receives friendly reminders that your firm can adjust or pause.
Answers and documents arrive organized and consistently named, ready for professional processing.
Features
The following describes the product concept. On this website it is shown as a visualization, not as a working application.
Every request type follows its own clearly defined flow.
Depending on the selected request type, only the questions relevant to that case are asked.
The answers produce a list of required documents with clear statuses.
Status per item
AI may assist with sorting. Its output is a suggestion and never replaces review.
Every AI output is a suggestion. Uncertain cases are flagged and must be reviewed manually.
Outstanding items are brought up again in a friendly tone and on a defined rhythm.
All cases in one place, sorted by status instead of spread across mailboxes.

Benefits
We do not promise percentages. The points below describe what the concept is designed for.
Reminders about outstanding documents run in a structured way instead of one by one via email and phone.
From the start, the case shows which evidence belongs to this specific request.
Every request type follows the same path, regardless of who receives it.
Information is captured in a structured form instead of being pieced together from messages.
Clients always know what is expected of them and what has already been received.
The state of a case is visible to the team without anyone having to ask.
Administrative steps tie up less capacity, which frees it for professional work.
Fewer follow-ups. Complete documents. More time for advisory work.

About us
AutomateWerk designs the process between tax firms and their clients. Instead of general automation we work on one clearly defined section: collecting information and documents in a structured way and preparing them for the firm.
To be completed by AutomateWerk. Details about the team, founding, location and references are deliberately omitted. They will be added once they are verifiable.
We look at the flow from the firm's perspective and from the client's perspective.
Recurring steps are modelled systematically instead of being handled one at a time.
The path stays simple, understandable and transparent for clients.
AI assists with sorting and checking; decisions are made in the firm.
We work exclusively in the context of German tax firms.
FAQ
Answers to the questions firms ask us most often.
No. The assistant collects information and documents and prepares them in a structured form. It gives no tax advice and makes no professional decisions. All advisory work is carried out by your firm.
Planned request types include: new client, income-tax return, financial accounting, annual financial statements, hiring an employee, a change for an existing employee, and a general request. Further request types can be added.
The concept does not foresee a classic registration process. Clients receive a personal, time-limited link to their case. The final design will be defined together with the firm and as part of the data-protection review.
Yes. Reminders are designed as a controllable feature: your firm can adjust timing and tone and can pause or disable reminders per case.
The intended approach includes encrypted transmission, secure storage, separate data areas per firm, roles and access rights, logging of important actions, and configurable deletion periods. Confidential documents are not meant to be sent as ordinary email attachments.
No. A DATEV integration does not exist today. It may be considered at a later point, and the architecture can be prepared for future integrations. There is no DATEV review or approval.
Yes. Request types, follow-up questions and checklists are designed as customizable components so they match the way your firm works.
AI can identify document types and tax years, read names and periods, recognize duplicates, and flag possibly missing pages or unsuitable documents. All results are suggestions. Uncertain cases are marked and reviewed in the firm.
The final technical setup, the privacy documentation including data-processing agreements and a deletion concept, and the professional-law requirements must be reviewed and approved by qualified German data-protection and professional-law experts.
This website is fully bilingual. The client assistant is also planned as a bilingual experience so firms can support international clients within the same structure.
